The all new Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge
Rolls Royce has unveiled their Ghost Black Badge with an increase in power to 592 horsepower. This allows the Ghost to make the century sprint in only 4.7 seconds. Additionally, the brakes have been modified to reduce brake travel and increase bite points in order to improve performance. Black Badge trim is offered in nearly a third of Rolls-Royce's models, and the luxury manufacturer is adding the blacked-out trim to its new Ghost sedan.

A chrome electrolyte covers the backlit pantheon grille as well as the black spirit of ecstasy on the front of the new Ghost. The wheels are made of 44 layers of carbon fibre for maximum strength. These are exclusive to Black Badge. Moreover, the wheels feature titanium fasteners and 3D-forged aluminium hubs. Finally, the carbon fibre is protected with a light tinted lacquer.

On the inside of the new Ghost, there are new digital instruments made from metal, wood, and leather. An interior shot of a Black Badge model features woven carbon fibre and metallic fibre trims, with black Bolivar veneer wood as a base layer. Besides the infinity logo over the rear seat champagne cooler, there's the starlit headliner, a Rolls-Royce prominent feature. 
Performance of the Ghost Black Badge
For 2021, the standard Ghost model will be powered by a 6.7-litre V-12 developing 563 horsepower. However, with the Black Badge, output increases to 592 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Rolls Royce says the ZF eight-speed transmission and throttle have been specially tuned for the Black Badge models to accommodate the enhanced performance of the 12-cylinder engine. In the new Ghost, all-wheel drive, air springs, and rear-wheel steering are included.
